Ü Conducting services in the Region as per the Regional plan.

Ü Follow up activating and updating the regional plan.

Ü Setting a thorough conception of Madinah Area till 1450H.

Ü Periodical update of the Urban Observatory Index values of Great Madinah Area covering all sections (Primary – Coordinative – Field) values on a regular basis according to the nature of each index (index series). Cancel indexes that were proved ineffective during the evaluation and analysis. Add new indexes to be proved effective in forming the developmental policies.

Ü Evaluate and analyze indexes produced by the local urban observatory of the greater Madinah Area.

The financial policies considered one of the most important engines of the social and economic developments.

Ü Update the urban observatory database by renewing their data on a regular basis and update their program in such a way as to meet the requirements of addition, deletion and amendment that may occur while regenerating these indexes.

Ü Conducting training courses in favor of the urban observatory network members and the executive committees in addition to the workshops and meetings aiming at elucidating the duties of the Urban Observatory members' duties.

Ü Coordinating with the UN Developmental Program office in the evaluation and analyzing process of the Urban Observatory indexes and verification of the procedures of reproducing these indexes and drawing the policies required thereto.

Ü Preparing the periodic bulletins about Urban Observatory indexes and conducting informational follow ups as follows :

• Preparing the periodic bulletins about Urban Observatory outcomes.
• Writing scientific articles in the field of the Urban Observatory in general and the outcomes thereof in Madinah area in particular.
• Introducing visual presentations and lectures in the scientific conferences to introduce and keep people aware of the Urban Observatory objectives and the revenues of the local UO in the great Madinah Area.
• Activating the UO portal for achieving positive interactions.
