Objectives of the Department --
Duties of the Department 01. The Secretariat :

 

1-1            Manage and organize the work files.

1-2            Organize the interviews and meetings.

1-3            Follow up matters as per the director's instructions.

1-4            Manage and coordinate works of The DPP equipment and machinery.

 

02. Consultant :

 

2-1      Help and oversee preparation and review of the municipality departments operational and executive plans.

2-2      Prepare and review the time tables of the work plans.

2-3      participate in the preparation of the strategic policies and the five-year term developmental plans.

 

03. The Balance Sheets:

 

3-1      Coordinate and follow up the draft annual balance sheet in view of the Universal Standard Data.

3-2      Participate in the preparation of policies aiming at achieving the municipality five year term developmental and strategic plans.

3-3      Discuss the draft balance sheets with all other concerned authorities and government offices and refer same to the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Finance.

3-4      Set the rules and criteria for planning and implementing the municipality works and sharing other concerned authorities to prepare the municipality annual balance sheets.

 

04. Plans and Programs:

 

4-1      Set the rules and criteria for planning and implementing the municipality works and sharing other concerned authorities to prepare the municipality annual balance sheets.

4-2      Participate and coordinate in preparation of the plans realizing the municipality goals and objectives in view of its mission.

4-3      Receive the municipality plans included within the five-year term developmental plan of the kingdom and circulate same among all municipality offices to act and work accordingly.

4-4      Set the time plans deemed necessary for the municipality plans.

 

05. Coordination and Follow up:

 

5-1      Coordinate and follow up with the concerned authorities to prepare the tenders for the approved programs and projects.

5-2      Overcome all obstacles of the plans and projects and find solution for any arising problems.

  

06. Essential Analysis and Reports :

 

6-1      Evaluate the plans on a periodic basis and refer the periodic reports and recommendations.

6-2      Follow up the implementation and evaluation of the plans, programs and projects included within municipality plan on a regular basis and refer reports about work progress as per the applicable forms.

6-3      Prepare, collect, classify and update the municipality statistical information, analyze the collected data and explain the indexes that are deemed essential for making the decisions of the financial planning and follow up implementation of the projects.
